Photography is a doorway to self discovery. I found this out by accident when I started shooting self-portraits instead of landscapes. When I looked at the images, I saw something I didn’t normally see in the mirror. A spark of something. I started shooting others, and I saw the spark in them too. That spark is what I’m after—I want every session to be a reminder that every one of us is lit within by something otherworldly and beautiful.
